Corolla with 4-5 lobes, lobes short in relation to the tube. Stamens 4, exserted. Staminode 0. Style exserted, persistent. Fruit a berry. Derivation of name: after Albrecht von Haller, 1708-1777, professor of botany, Göttingen. Worldwide: 4 species in tropical and southern Africa and Madagascar. DRC: 1 taxon. |
