Description of the genus
Sepals green or yellow in flower, persistent and usually enlarging and becoming varying shades of red and coriaceous in fruit. Petals 5, yellow. Worldwide: 8 species in West and Central Africa as far East as Sudan and as far South as Zambia and Angola. DRC: 1 taxon. |
