Azanus jesous

Species details:

Note: Throughout the year but most abundant in summer. Upperside male purple-blue with a narrow black border; female brownish with purple-blue in the centre and a distinct brown 'comma' in each forewing.
Distribution: Throughout Southern Africa, where Acacia spp are found.
