Species details:
Note:
|
The 4 species (pirithous, brevidentatus, jeanneli and babaulti) in this group are indistinguishable in the field without dissection of the genitalia. As they do not normally mix in the field, several specimens seen together should be of the same species. |
Distribution:
|
All species are found from Eastern Cape south to Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe; while L. pirithous is widespread throughout most of Africa, parts of Europe and into Asia. |
