Species details:

Note: Flies throughout the year.
Its foodplants are known to be grasses but no particular species as yet have been identified.
Distribution: Marshy places in Senegal, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana.
