Species details:

Note: This species is a mimic of the Danaid butterfly Amauris niavius dominicanus.
Distribution: This subspecies is known from Ethiopia, eastern DR Congo, eastern Kenya, eastern Tanzania, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Eswatini and South Africa.
