Species details:

Note: The only recorded larval food plants are Tragia glabrata and Dalechampia capensis (Euphorbiaceae). These species are not much known from our region but B. ilithyia is fairly common throughout Africa. It is likely that other species in Tragia, Dalechampia or related genera are also used.
Distribution: Widespread in tropical Africa, South Africa, Yemen, Oman, Pakistan, India and Sri-Lanka.
