Description:
A weakly branched prostrate perwnnial herb, with stems up to 40 cm long. Leaves opposite, ovaye, 2-8 cm long, hairy on both sides. Flowers axillary. Calyx lobes linear, c. 5 mm long. Corolla white. Capsule linear, 2.5-4 cm long.

Notes:
Derivation of specific name: kamerunensis: of Cameroon, where the type specimen was collected.
Habitat: Humid places in montane evergreen forest.

Worldwide distribution: Gulf of Guinea Islands, Cameroon, DR Congo, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania.
