| Description: |
Slender saprophytic or semi-saprophytic, herb to 35 cm, drying almost black. Underground organs tuberous. Green leaves absent. Peduncle with brownish sheaths towards the base and 1-2 more further up. Inflorescence untidy-looking; flowers drooping. Sepals 9-12 mm, semi-erect, greenish-brown, the tips reflexed. Petals 7.5-11 mm, narrowly oblong-elliptic, green with purple veins. Lip 3-lobed; mid-lobe yellow and white, covered in papillae and with 3 crests. Spur 2-3.5 mm, inflated at apex. Capsule pendent. |
