Flat-topped semi-evergreen tree. Bark pale grey when young, darker and rough when older. Leaves paripinnate with 3-4 pairs of leaflets; leaflets, oblong-elliptic, c. 9 × 5 cm, glossy green; apex rounded; margin entire. Flowers in branched heads, creamy-white, calyx and stalks covered in brown velvet. Fruit a pod, up to 11 cm long, velvety, dark brown. |
