Long stipules present but falling soon, enclosing the new leafbuds,looking like soft spines at the ends of branchlets. Flowers small, bisexual; petals 4-5, free; stamens 8-10; disk present. Fruit a depressed-globose drupe, slightly 5-angled, 5-5.6 mm in diameter, hairless. |
