Description: |
Slender herb up to 55 cm. tall; stems terete, sulcate, glabrous. Leaves 2–3 x c. 0.5 mm., subulate, acute, scabrid especially on margins towards the base. Inflorescence laxly many-flowered, 6–15 cm. long. Flowers bracteate; bracts 1.5–2.25 x 0.5 mm., subulate, glabrous. Pedicels (2.5)7–14(18) mm. long, glabrous. Bracteoles 0.75–1.3 mm. long, subulate. Calyx 2–3 mm. long, lobes 0.5–0.75 mm. long, subtruncate, apiculate, sparsely scabridulous. Corolla 15.5–20 mm. long, externally puberulent, white to very pale pink. Style 7–13 mm. long.
