| Description: | Erect or spreading herb growing from a tuber up to 10 cm in diameter, sub-spherical. Aerial stems 1–few, 2.5–8 cm × ± 2 mm, puberulent to pubescent, branching lateral. Leaves spreading to ascending, sub-sessile to petiolate; petiole 0–10 mm long, sometimes stem-clasping, puberulent to pubescent; blade 3.5–6 × 0.7–2 cm, narrowly obovate to obovate, acute, base tapering, above glabrous or pubescent, spotted, beneath puberulent to pubescent and denser on veins, margin wavy. Inflorescences terminal, open, few-flowered monochasia, puberulent to pubescent, peduncles 2–17 mm long, pedicels 7–18 mm long; bracts 2–4 mm long, subulate. Sepals 2–3 × 1 mm, narrowly triangular to narrowly ovate, attenuate, outside puberulent to pubescent. Corolla tube 3–5 mm long, campanulate, outside glabrous to pubescent, inside glabrous; lobes spreading, 12–20 × 3–5 mm, oblong-ovate, obtuse to sub-acute, outside glabrous to pubescent, inside mauve. Coronal feet fleshy; lobes from outer apex of coronal feet, 7–20 mm long, base dilated becoming filiform, papillose or glabrous, apex tortuous. Follicles and seeds unknown. |
