Derivation of specific name:	mildbraedii: after Gottfried Wilhelm Johannes Mildbraed (1879-1954), German explorer, botanist and plant collector, specializing in bryophytes and pteridophytes. He was Keeper at the Berlin Botanical Museum from 1913.
Habitat:	In high montane forests with Hagenia and Hypericum or Bamboo forest, (sub)alpine vegetations or on wet rocks.
