Tree to 15 m. Branchlets finely grey-pubescent, glabrescent. Leaves: petiole to 2 cm; lamina 11-25 × 5-10 cm, elliptic; upper surface shiny, green, lower more glaucous; apex acuminate. Panicles up to 15 cm, grey-tomentose when young, appearing with the young leaves. Perianth segments 5 mm, narrowly ovate, equal. Fruit up to 20 cm, green to purple-black when ripe. |
