Rhizome erect, short; rhizome scales triangular, apex long tapering to a slender point. Fronds monomorphic, tufted, erect, herbaceous, not proliferous. Stipe 8–16 cm long, greyish, grooved, with sparse scales and near apex articulated hairs. Lamina oblong in outline, 10–15 x 5–7 cm, pinnate, basal pinnae not or hardly reduced, terminal pinna deltoid-oblong in outline, margin toothed; pinnae in 6–8 pairs, trapezoid-oblong in outline, to 4 x 1.7 cm, apex rounded or pointed, base uneven, margin with blunt tooth, hairless, alternate, petiolulate; costa apparent. Sori many, on the veins at 45° angle to costa, not reaching costa or margin, linear, 3–8 mm long; indusium membranous, entire. |
