Prickless suffrutescent more or less prostrate perennial. Stems densely covered with long spreading hairs. Leaves ovate to ovate-elliptic 2.5-5(-7.5) × 1.2-2.5 cm, covererd with long thin more or less apressed hairs; venetion somewhat depressed above, prominent below; petiole up to 5 mm long or leaves subsessile. Inflorescences capitate or in dense, mostly short spikes, terminal or on short lateral shoots and subtended by leaves; bracts, bracteoles and calyx covered with long fine apressed hairs and with shorter rather flexuous hairs and glandular hairs; bracts elliptic, 2.5-3.7 cm long; bracteoles narrowly elliptic, rather asymetric, 3.3-4 × 0.4-0.7 cm; corolla white, 3.5-5 cm long, tube 2.3-3 cm long, 6-10 mm wide at the throat, slightly pubescent and glandular outside; lobes elliptic to suborbicular, upper lobes 12-16 mm long, median lower lobe 13-22 mm long, lateral lower lobes 12-15 mm long. Capsule (submature) ellipsoid, blackish, hairless, 20 × 7 mm. |
